Switching the display off

You can save electricity by switching the display off.

Switching the display off

1. If necessary, switch the appliance off using the Stop

button. Residual heat must not

be displayed.

2. Press the Clock Function

and the

buttons at the same time until the display

goes dark.

As soon as the appliance is operated again, the

display automatically switches itself on. When

the appliance is switched off again, the display

goes out again.

To have the time permanently displayed again,

you must switch the display on again.

and the buttons at the same time until the display

appears again.

Child safety lock

As soon as the child safety lock is activated, it is no longer possible to operate the appliance.

Switching the child safety lock on

1. If necessary, switch the appliance off us-

ing the Stop

button. Make sure no oven

function is selected.

2. Press and hold down the baking/roasting

and programme buttons at the

same time, until SAFE appears on the dis-

play.

The child safety lock is now activated.

Switching the child lock off

1. If necessary, switch the appliance off us-

ing the Stop

button.

2. Press and hold down the baking/roasting

and programme buttons at the same

time until SAFE disappears from the display.

The child safety lock is now deactivated and the appliance is again ready for use.
