Switching off the display

You can save energy by switching off the display.

Switching off the display

1. If necessary, switch off the appliance using the On/Off

button. Residual heat must

not be displayed.

2. Press the clock buttons

and at the

same time until the display goes dark.

As soon as the appliance is operated again, the

display automatically switches itself on. When

the appliance is next switched off, the display

goes out again.

To have the time permanently displayed again,

you must switch the display on again.

1. If necessary, switch off the appliance us-

ing the On/Off

button.

2. Press the clock buttons

and at the same time until the display comes on again.

Child lock

As soon as the child lock is activated, it is no longer possible to operate the oven.

Switching on the child lock

1. If necessary, switch off the appliance us-

ing the On/Off

button. No oven func-

tion may be selected.

2. Press and hold the baking/boasting pro-

gramme buttons

and at the same

time, until SAFE appears in the display.

The child lock is now on.

Switching off the child lock

1. If necessary, switch off the appliance us-

ing the On/Off

button.

2. Press and hold the baking/roasting pro-

gramme buttons

and at the same time, until SAFE disappears from the display.

The child safety device is now deactivated and the appliance is again ready for use.
