Cleaning and servicing
WARNING!
For cleaning, the appliance must be switched off and cooled down.
WARNING!
For safety reasons, do not clean the appliance with steam jet or high-pressure cleaning
equipment!
CAUTION!
Do not use any scouring agents, sharp cleaning tools or scourers.
CAUTION!
Do not use any rough, polishing cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the glass that
can scratch the surface, as this can cause the glass to break.
The outside of the appliance
Wipe down the front of the appliance with a soft cloth and a solution of hot water and
washing-up liquid.
For metal fronts, use normal commercially available cleaning agents.
Please do not use any scouring agents or abrasive sponges.
Oven interior
Clean the oven after every use. This is the easiest way to remove dirt which then cannot
burn on.
1. When the oven door is opened, the oven light switches itself on automatically.
2. Wipe out the oven after every use with a solution of washing-up liquid and then dry
it.
Remove stubborn dirt with special oven cleaners.
When using oven sprays, please follow the manufacturer's instructions exactly!
Oven roof with catalytic self-cleaning surface
(rough, porous surface)
The oven roof has a catalytic self-cleaning surface, from which small food deposits are
burnt off at temperatures over 200 °C.
Please observe the following instructions to ensure the best working of this self-cleaning
surface.
