6.4 Measuring the temperature sensor

If a failure at the temperature sensor is assumed, the resistance can be checked by means of

an ohmmeter.

The resistance of the temperature sensor should be 500 – 600 ohms at room temperature.

Make sure to measure the insulation resistance between the metallic housing and each

connection terminal.

The resistance should be higher than 2 MOhms.
