10. AFTER SALES SERVICE

If you have an operating problem, refer to the "Operating problems" section. If any work is necessary after you have made

all your checks, your washing machine dealer is the first person authorized to take action. Otherwise, you can always call

Consumers Help that will inform you of the address of an After Sales Service.

When you call the After Sales Service, mention the model and product number of your washing machine, and its serial num-

ber. This information is given on the inside of the filter door and on the data plate at the back of the washing machine.

If any work is done on your washing machine, insist that your After Sales Service uses manufacturer certified spare parts.

The washing machine stops during a washing cy-

cle :

• the water or electricity supply is defective,

• a RINSE HOLD, NIGHT CYCLE or NO SPIN option was

programmed.

The lid does not open during the cycle : • the washing machine is in a heating phase beyond 55°C

• the water level is too high

• the drum is turning

The drum is not in high position at the end of the

cycle :

• the drum could not reach the right position due to a persis-

tent unbalanced mass; turn the drum manually.

The following message «Door not closed.

Please check» appears in the display window :

• the lid is not correctly closed.

The following message «No drain. Check drain

hose / filter» appears in the display window :

• the drain filter is blocked,

• the drain pipe is blocked or kinked,

• the drain pipe is too high (see «installation»),

• the drain pump is blocked,

• the installation siphon is blocked.

The following message «No incoming water.

Check tap & hose» appears in the display win-

dow :

• the water tap is closed,

• the water network has been cut off.

The following message «Warning : EA6

instructions booklet» appears in the display

window :

• the flaps of the drum door are opened.

Softener or Javel water flows through the over-

flow orifice when filling.

• you did not put in the right amount,

• the siphons at the back of the detergents dispenser are

blocked.

The following message «Excess detergent» ap-

pears in the display window :

• you did not put in the right amount.

The following message «Warning :

E / See ins-

tructions booklet» appears in the display win-

dow or the washing machine will not start or will

be in Pause :

• turn the programme selector on the OFF position and call

the After Sales Service.
